As a teacher, understanding copyright and fair use is essential to ensure that I respect others’ work while creating my own instructional materials. When developing lessons or resources, I would make sure to use content that is either my original work, in the public domain, or allowed under fair use guidelines. I would also teach my students about these rules so they know how to properly give credit and avoid plagiarism when creating their own projects. Learning more about fair use has helped me realize that it’s not just about avoiding legal trouble but also about respecting creators’ rights and creativity.

Cyberbullying is a serious issue that can affect students’ mental health and learning environment. To address this in my future classroom, I would implement clear rules about respectful online behavior and use monitoring tools to help identify any harmful interactions. I would also hold regular discussions with students about empathy, digital citizenship, and how to respond if they witness or experience cyberbullying. Additionally, I would collaborate with parents and school counselors to create a support system that effectively prevents and manages cyberbullying.

Working on the Newsletter Design assignment helped me learn how to organize information clearly and use visual elements to make content more engaging. I now understand how important layout, fonts, and images are in keeping readers interested and conveying messages effectively. To improve my newsletter in the future, I could add more interactive features or include feedback sections to better connect with my audience. These design skills will be valuable in my career for creating professional presentations, reports, and materials that must be visually appealing and easy to read for students.
